Two New Spring intros:

Christmas Eve
Annual Report

Warning, these are large and in MPEG format (each is around 17 MB).

Annual report was created totally from within After Effects, using the Trapcode plugins. A few images came from Photoshop. Music is original, created in Sony's Acid 4.

Christmas Eve intro was built in Lightwave, imported into After Effects for lighting... overlaid with snow particles generated with Particle Illusion by Wondertouch.

Hands down, best site out there for advanced tutorials is Ayatoweb. Drop by and learn. Most tutorials are for AE PRO (version 5.5).

He also covers a lot of Trapcode plugin tutorials. I just acquired all 4 plugins (did not get the new LUX... maybe later). Beautiful. Worth the money.

Enjoy

My computer runneth slower... I'm posting now because After Effects 6 is eating most of my comptuter's resources. I've jumped headfirst into After Effects, and I'm rendering my first movie right now. It's a beautiful program, one that will take me years to grasp.

Peel the onion.

Travel over to Creative Cow to stay up to date with After Effects tutorials.

I also highly recommend the entire suite of Trapcode plugins. Get them HERE.

I'll post some video segments later this week, if I'm able. Check back for them.

After Effects. Version 6 is now out and I'm starting to tackle it. I've found that it will do things that I've previously done in Flash MX (just because it was easy). Look forward to exciting things to come.

In the meantime, visit Freemart.com to acquire some great tutorials for AE (all versions). That's where I'll be doing my reading.
